CAPAC Nick Lowe hailed again ... Lowe Country
My blog colleague Morten notes on the album Lowe Country. The Songs of Nick Lowe, where a number of artists shelves singer-songwriter Nick Lowe. And I think that is every good reason to do, he just gets better and better with time. And that is saying something when you consider what he has on the conscience of good songs. The new album streamed several places online, including here. Among the many tracks I've fallen in love with Ron Sexsmiths completely naked, stripped-down version of "Where is my everything", which is both very Sexsmithsk and Lowesk at the same time.
CAPAC is my nom de plume et de guerre! Behind the akronymiske palindrome cc plaza CAPAC hiding a kid who's been growing up against his good will and are able to vent his unstoppable write itching, his equally stubborn urge to reflect on everything, his desire to criticize the world's vicissitudes - and his unquenchable appetite for what we want of a better call life.
The topics spanning everything between heaven and earth - and beyond - with a penchant for nostalgia and music, a keen eye for the setting is contemporary political and cultural misery and encouragement, combined with a light-hearted and sometimes racy opinion about anything in general. Nothing is too big or too small to have a word with the road.
Capac is a one-man-band, although many believe that there is a collective behind. There is only one scribe behind the writings. On the other hand, I write almost every day. The beat must go on and on and on ....
